The Icon of Christ and the Theotokos is an authentic Russian icon from Sofrino, a church art workshop of the Russian Orthodox Church just outside Moscow, known for its traditional craftsmanship. It features a rich velvet exterior and an intricate gold interior.

It’s a meaningful addition to my prayer corner at home and feels like a piece that will last for years. I was gifted the same icon years ago in Moscow, and while the velvet exterior softened with time, the interior remained beautifully intact and just as meaningful. I was glad to find it again here.
