Vintage 1990 Greek Orthodox Wooden Icon

The Archangels Michael & Gabriel

Item Details

This is a beautiful vintage Greek Orthodox icon depicting the Archangels Michael and Gabriel. The image is a high-quality lithograph applied to a solid wood plaque, finished with a deliberate craquelure (crackle) effect to give it a rich, antiqued appearance.

Archangel Michael is depicted on the left holding a sword and a shield bearing a sun emblem, while Archangel Gabriel is on the right holding a botanical branch.
