• Exterior: Beautifully hand-carved wood featuring a traditional Byzantine cross motif on the front and back. It is finished with a small metal plaque reading "THNOC" (Tinos), referencing the famous Greek island known for the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary.
• Interior Left Panel: Features a beautifully embossed silver-tone metal plaque depicting the Theotokos (Virgin Mary) holding the Christ Child.
• Interior Right Panel: Features an embossed silver-tone metal plaque depicting the Annunciation (Archangel Gabriel and the Virgin Mary).
• Hinge: Sturdy brass-tone metal hinges allow the diptych to open smoothly and close securely.
