Antique Wooden Triptych Folding Icon - Jesus Christ & Apostles

Item Description

A beautifully crafted wooden folding triptych icon featuring a central image of Jesus Christ Pantocrator, flanked by two saints/apostles on the side panels. The artwork is finished with a stunning, heavy craquelure (cracked) texture that gives the piece an authentic, time-worn antique appearance. Crafted in the traditional Eastern Orthodox / Byzantine style, the wood is shaped with an ornate top arch, and the exterior panels are painted in a matte black finish.
